H1N1 Resource Library
The following resources
mirror the public health functions outlined in Section 8
of the
LPHA Pandemic Influenza Response Plan Template (PHEP
Appendix 3). A LPHA can use the resource center in
the following ways: 1) consider this as a menu of
resources that a LPHA can select from to include as
attachments in a LPHA Pandemic Influenza Response Plan;
2) a LPHA can choose not to include these resource in
the LPHA Pandemic Influenza Response Plan but instead
can access this site and simply download and modify a
resource on a as needed basis.
Please note that when using a resource developed in
Spring 2009 (1st H1N1 wave), recommendations and
guidance may have changed since then. As such,
please review and update the resource according to new
recommendations and guidance.

Microsoft Access Health Alert (Douglas County -
Spring 2009). ZIP File.
The health alert template was developed to help
staff create health alerts to partners in a more
timely fashion. Many messages that a LPHA may
need to relay can be just selected by checking the
box and then they appear on the alert. Douglas
County HHS used this several times during their
initial H1N1 response.
